Tom Erb helped me, learn the skills and develop the confidence needed to pursue a career in film production. Now, almost eleven years later, I have graduate from Franklin Pierce University with a degree in Film Production and have several independent features under my belt that have been well received both in college and at film festivals. I attribute many of the skills needed to achieve these goals so far to the experiences I had and things I learned while working with Tom Erb.

I really enjoyed working with Tom Erb of STAGERight as the online marketing consultant/web developer for his many websites:
STAGERightRI.com
NewportArtsScene.com,
NewportRIEvents.com,
NewportCityLimits.com,
RIComicThrowdown.com,
He has yet another website in the works. Somebody stop this man!
I am impressed by the amount of energy Tom puts into creating content. This man is prolific! Tom has an amazing ability to produce shows, do interviews, update all his new websites and more. Visitors to his sites can't help but be impressed by the quality of entertainment news and content that they find on his sites. I must also mention that Tom gives back to his community by supporting several local non-profits with his time and energy. Tom has created a great resource to promote the Arts Scene and the entertainment business in Rhode Island. To top it off, he is great fun to work with!John O'Donovan (Big John)

I had the pleasure of working with Tom Erb twice, once as he hosted Newport City Limits and secondly as he interviewed me for Newport Arts Scene podcast.
Both times his enthusiasm & genuine good nature won me over, and I was able to feel very comfortable and confident.
His professional, yet relaxed demeanor is dynamic and will win you over!
A fantastic guy, and a wonderful asset to the Rhode Island arts community.

Trinity Ministry of the Arts Performing Arts Summer Camp
Our experience with the Ministry of the Arts’ Artistic Director and Youth Advisor, Tom Erb, is limited to the 2009 Ministry of the Arts two-week summer camp “Newport: The Legacy”.
Blair was the Assistant Camp Director. She writes: Tom has abundant energy and genuine interest in getting the participants involved in the theatrical process. He helped to make the history of Newport fun, interesting and alive. As for his interpersonal relationships with the counselors and me, he was always approachable, sought our input and wanted us to be invested in the process, the production and the performances.
Sarah was a junior counselor. She writes: I thought Tom was the perfect man for this job because his enthusiasm and love for theatre was reflected in his relationships with the campers. He made sure that everyone stayed involved so that their creativity and talent equally contributed to the final product.
Meredith and Cary Lord, parents of Blair and Sarah, write: This was a very positive experience for our girls in terms of both their leadership roles and the overall camp dynamic. Our impression is that the program was well organized so that all of the “camp time” was structured to advance the objectives, including having fun. Tom seems to be a professional in the ability to organize and implement artistic programs for youth.

My name is Joe Martins and I am in the band, Triple Threat Blues Crusade. Tom Erb worked with us on his project ,Newport City Limits ,which showcased local musicians playing original material. It was a smooth operation professionally done. He is single handedly shining a light on talent that otherwise would have gone largely unnoticed. Tom also paired my band up with legendary blues musician James Montgomery as part of a 12 hour multiple band fund raiser for the Make a Wish Come True organization to help out a very sick child. He is a consummate professional in his craft who works selflessly to promote the arts and help others, much of it on his own time.

Tom C Erb's name, that you say quickly, "all at once" including the C, kept popping up here, there & everywhere and then I met " the force",a determined, whimsical, multi talented, lover of life force, who is trying hard to connect creative people to each other and to make good things happen for the ever evolving " arts scene" of Newport County he loves. He will go to any length to find, promote, expose, encourage, connect " the arts" which these days is a huge blessing.
My Dancing Spirit studio is " off island" in Tiverton . When we met we weren't sure how to collaborate but a few months went by and when Tom C Erb created a local radio station to interview artists he asked me to be on the show. I had never been on a radio show before and it was a lot of fun. If you have something to share call Tom C. Erb to be on the show.
He has recently created a website for all his " happenings" with a background of the beautiful Newport bridge close to all Newporter's hearts and I'm very proud to be in " the creative mix" of Mr Tom C. Erb
Most sincerely Barbara , who is wondering what he will be doing next

Tom Erb has become as essential to our Newport arts scene as the sea is to our sailing community. We all love the languid, easy-going feel of this island, but there is a certain passion and intellect that Tom Erb brings to the Newport community. For a long time Newport has been identified by its sailors, society people, surfers and college kids; thanks to Tom we can now add serious artists (actors, singers, writers, painters) to that mix.

Working with Tom C. Erb is always a pleasurable and professional experience. Whether he's hosting a radio show or a live concert, Tom brings enthusiasm and positive energy. I have been particularly impressed with his website presentation. I sent various pics and a short bio for his Newport Arts Scene Radio Hour. Within 24 hours of our interview he had cohesively compiled the photos and bio along with his own additions from web research on me publishing things that I had even forgotten about! This along with a link to the podcast. I have added it to my EPK to send out for gigs. His live concert productions for Newport City Limits are tremendously well done. Hey, this is a guy you want to work with!!!

Working with Tom Erb has a great experience. His energy is exhilarating, his energy contagious. But as a singer/songwriter, the thing about Tom that has been the greatest asset, is his commitment to local original music. Tom appreciates local talent. Often times, people make the mistake of thinking that to find the best, you need to go far away. Not Tom. He really appreciates my work. He created and produces the show Newport City Limits, bringing a vital energy to the Newport RI music and art scene. I'm sure many artists are with me in appreciating Tom's work ... and he's a blast to work with.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tom C. Erb the beginning of 2010 when he was hired to do promotional and marketing work in Bristol, RI.
Tom’s direct, no nonsense way of approaching work along with his unstoppable drive and commitment to getting things done is what I admired then and now. He has a wealth of knowledge for the many venues (that he has the ability to juggle) he manages and with this knowledge and stamina I’m sure Tom will go far. I found Tom to be honest in all dealings with me and in this world of marketing and business that goes a long way.
Whoever brings Tom into their business or teams up with him will be pleased to find all of the above mentioned attributes.

"I was a guest on Tom's Newport Art Scene Radio podcast twice this past year, have followed his web and social media based marketing of the local arts scene as well as was interviewed by him for the Newport Arts & Cultural Alliance local cable show. In all these different media formats, I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, a wonderful promoter of the arts and a compelling radio/TV host and personality. He has been a wonderful addition to the local art scene who has brought an enormous amount of energy and creativity to the table at a particularly challenging time for the arts."

"I'd been out of the acting business for a very long time and basically need to start back at square one. Tom has been a tireless, patient coach, insightful mind reader and enthusiastic supporter. His extensive knowledge of the craft and vast experience has been invaluable, and working with Tom has given me the skills and confidence I needed to get back in the game."
